23' Precision P23.
1998 Precision 23 Sailboat, Boat has been very well maintained and upgraded for near shore cruising.
This boat has been to the North Channel on Georgian Bay, Lake Huron and Puget Sound.
Set up as a fantastic small cruiser.
Boat was also set up for racing in the past with a full transom traveller, split backstay and loose footed main along with a compliment of 5 racing sails, including spinnaker, along with the standard Dacron main and furling genoa.
I have done a lot of upgrades and modifications since I bought her in 2017 (see attached list).
She was in fresh water most of her life.
I used her in salt water but she has lived on the trailer most of the time.
She was only in the water a few weeks a year.
The trailer was also thoroughly rinsed after being is salt.
With the design of the trailer and mast raising system I am able to rig and launch on my own and then recover and unrig as well.
From the Builder and Designer:
Considered to be a "maxi-trailerable", the Precision 23 far outstrips many boats in terms of true usable space, both on deck and below.
Special emphasis has gone into giving the P-23 her particular bright and uncluttered interior.
The bulkheads are intentionally trimmed back to avoid subdividing the visual space.
Of special note, the typical intrusive mast compression support post has been eliminated by clever use of a rugged overhead support beam fiberglassed to the deck.
The especially large companionway, multiple cabin ports and forward hatch contribute to the feeling of light & open space.
The double berth forward is generous and there are full sized berths aft which will accommodate 3 more.
The portable head has a dedicated space forward and the fixed galley is aft where it is convenient to both cabin and cockpit.
The Precision 23 hull represents a very careful refinement of the basic form that has proven so successful in all of our well known trailerable cruisers.
Lively performance, reliable handling and high stability are all the hallmarks of these designs.

1998 Nissan 8 hp 2 Stroke with cockpit engine controls.

Have used for long runs with perfect performance.
New 3 gal main tank, 2 x 1 gal cans and 3 x 2 gal cans. 11 gallon capacity for up to 22 hours of motoring.
