If youre a seasoned sailor looking to move up into a bigger boat thatll take you cruising to the keys or the Bahamas or youre a first time sailboat buyer who wants to get started on the right foot with a boat thats a great blend of affordability, reliability and comfort, then this might be the most important message you read all year!

SlipNOut is a 1982 Hunter 33.5 made by the legendary John Cherubini.

Back when Hunter made well-crafted and robust boats for the true cruisers out there.

When I bought her, she just about had it all and Ive made a few improvements and added a few extras since then!

Ive also put her through her paces and have learned a whole lot about how this boat handles and how she runs on a long trip.

Her Yanmar 2GM 13hp diesel runs like a top and generally gets about 10-15 miles to the gallon.

Thats great news, because it means you can motor from Tampa Bay to Key West on about 15 gallons of fuel!

The internal tank holds 22 gallons and youve got an extra 5-gallon Jerry jug for extra range as well.

How about auxiliary gear?

Shes tricked out!

Your day, weekend or long term cruising is made easier with a new 2016 Sitex chart plotter, a 2018 Ray Marine autopilot and built in depth finder.

For going into town for a pina colada and a fresh piece of key Lime pie, just jump in your 2023 West marine 9.5 inflatable still in its original box!

Your new boat comes with 2 105 AGM house batteries as well as a dedicated flooded lead starter battery.

In addition, theres an 80watt solar panel mounted to the dinghy davits, a built-in AC power charger and automatic battery charger controller.

Ive installed a 1.2KW inverter that powers the entire AC system offshore for those little extras that add the comforts of home to any trip, short or long.

Your galley comes complete with microwave, mini fridge, lots of storage and 2 butane single burner cooktops which have been awesome.

Theyre lightweight, easy to use and absolutely safe.

For keeping food fresh long-term youve got a 2.1 cubic foot freezer thats energy star efficient and uses only 75 watts.

Plenty of room to keep several weeks worth of food frozen.

Ive recently added a countertop ice maker as well.

This little unit runs on AC power but only uses 120watts so itll work on the inverter as well and makes 1.5 lbs. of ice per hour or 26 pounds in a 24 hour period.

You can never have enough ice for the margaritas, am I right?

The boat features a spacious saloon and v-berth and even a quarter berth although if youre anything like me, thatll be storage!

The port settee opens up to accommodate two allowing the boat to comfortably sleep 6.

Head is fully equipped with overboard or holding tank toilet and shower with vanity.

Theres a 19 flat panel TV, dvd player and built-in JVC stereo with 6 speakers both inside and out and is blue tooth ready.

The stereo is mounted over the nav station next to the VHF radio.

Its the little things that matter, and SlipNOut has those, too.

Youve got 2 Danforth anchors, a 45 lb. main with 12 feet of chain and 300 feet of road.

A second 40 lb. anchor with 75 of road.

A 7 gal. water Jerry jug, 2 boat hooks, foot pump for the dink, fresh water rinse in the cockpit, 3 good condition cockpit cushions, life jackets out the ying-yang, cockpit Bimini, lots of dock lines, new curtains, new v-berth and saloon cushions and matching inside hatch covers, 3 gal.

Water heater, under-helmsmans storage and a huge lazarette you can climb inside!

You also get a 5,000BTU companionway AC unit that works great even in August.

She sails like a dream and Ive had her up to 7.5 knots in 15 knots of wind or less.

Under power youll generally get a little over 6 knots as well.

Ive taken her to the Dry Tortugas and the keys several times and countless overnights and weekends as well as glorious day sails.

This boat is truly a great balance for the new sailor or for those who want to upgrade without breaking the bank.

Special notes: Had SlipNOut hauled out in the fall of 2022 for some upgrades so that shes turn-key ready for her and your next chapter: * New bottom job * New life lines * New bow railing. * New running lights fore and aft * Upgraded electrical for easy switch from shore to inverter power * New drive shaft 2021 * New bilge pump * New AC battery charger system and controller * Installed dedicated starter battery and charger. * New sail cover 2021 * New Bimini and binnacle cover 2020 Shes also been a live aboard more than once and is a synch to unhook and go out for the day or for a month.

Shes priced to move and shes ready to hit the seas for adventures youll cherish for a lifetime.
