	Awesome 1990 18ft Custom Built Wood Tug Boat W/2002 18 Hp Volvo Diesel Engine & Trailer. This is an absolutely awesome custom-built wood boat with a fiberglass outer coating and brass/bronze hardware. The wood and woodwork is incredible (as a very detailed woodworker for over forty years I know quality work). The 2002 Volvo Diesel Engine only has approx 250 hours (my boat mechanic indicated its not even broken in). Because it had been warehoused for many years, we recently had it completely serviced by a master mechanic (impeller replaced, oil change, bulge pump replacement, etc). The engine/prop shaft and dripless was just replaced. The exterior teak wood has recently been professionally refinished (with three coats of high quality Sikkens-Cetol Marine Natural Teak wood finish. The teak wood deck and swim ladder platform has recently been professionally refinished with three coats of high-quality Teak Oil. This type of boat is built for cruising. It is not built for speed. The 18 Hp diesel pushes the little boat to a nice cruising speed. This boat is absolutely beautiful, outrageously unique and a real eye catcher. We cannot take it anywhere without people asking about it, photographing it and taking selfies with it in the background. I cannot even estimate the times people give me the thumbs up sign when I trailer it. It is truly a show boat. The boat was originally commissioned by a wealthy Texan to be built for his wife. It is understood that the original cost was approx $39,000. It is understood that initially the wife would take friends for evening outings and then it was warehoused for approx fifteen years. Once she no longer used it, I purchased it (so I am the second owner). We absolutely love this boat but we have five grandkids and we need more room for them so we purchased a larger tug boat. We hate to let it go and planned to enter it in boat shows as a hobby but due to a disabling catastrophic injury we cannot keep both boats. Extras: High quality aluminum trailer, new battery, new trailer tires (due to potential dry rot), incredible stereo sound system, auto pilot (we removed it because we did not know how to operate it), high quality custom built canvas full boat cover (Re: photo), swim ladder, fire extinguisher, life jackets, anchor, ropes, etc. Issues: The depth finder is not working. I had planned to update with a new one. There are a few small scratches/dings on the hull (all water tight). I will be working on cleaning these up and touching up (price will go up accordingly). There are no interior seat/bed cushions. I am considering having custom interior seat/bed cushions made similar in color to match boat as seen in example photo (price will go up accordingly). I have started rebuilding the front two removable windows to add teak wood trim and brass hinges (price will go up accordingly).
