1959 Chris-Craft U24 Sportsman mahogany boat.There were only 149 Of these boats produced between 1959 and 1960.
Last of the Big Sportsman's that were produced.
This rare and beautiful boat is quite the head turner.
It's taller sides make it ideal for smaller children to keep them safe.
Plenty of room for lots of people to come along.
This boat is a ball to ski off of!
The boat was professionally and completely restored in 2014 and has only spent one season in the water since, in 2019.
It has the original, very throaty 283 engine that starts up with no problems.
It sounds awesome!
It is rumored that this boat was the directors boat used in the 1981 Henry Fonda and Katherine Hepburn movie "On Golden Pond." I was able to find photographs from behind the scenes that show this boat.
Because movie production companies only kept paperwork for "on screen" boats, this boat has no paperwork just pictures.
Had custom bunk trailer and custom cover made for it in 2019.
Bottom was repainted in 2019.
