2014 Tattoo 26 Power Sailer.
The Tattoo 26 Power Sailer has a great heritage.
Using the hull and deck molds of the MacGregor 26 (over 8,000 Macgregor 26's sold since 2003) and with some upgrades, Mr. MacGregor's daughter (Laura MacGregor Sharp) and her husband Paul manufactured and sold the Tattoo 26.
A family boat, easily trailed and launched, that features:
Berths: 2 double and 2 single (6 people total) - great for overnight camping on a lake/bay/campground.
Main Cabin: 6 feet head room, an enclosed head, a dinette and a small galley.
A boat (empty of ballast) with a dry weight of 2,500 lbs and a beam of 7'9".
a custom aluminum trailer (Float-on) with surge brakes; weight 600 lbs.
The mast can be raised in a matter of minutes using the included mast raising system.
A boat draft of one (1) foot when empty of water ballast and six (6) feet with water ballast and dagger board down.
Water Ballast of 1,172 lbs which can be loaded and drained in 5 minutes.
Fixed Ballast of 300 lbs.
A 60 HP Evinrude E-TEC Outboard engine that can achieve hull speeds of 20 mph without water ballast and 12 mph with ballast.
The boat has only been used in fresh water.
Roller Furler Genoa.
Lazy jack System intergrated with sail cover for the Main Sail.
